With digital photography, taking the picture is only the start of the process. Whatever camera you use, and however much experience that you have, your images will always benefit from at least some editing.
There are lots of programs that you could use for this digital darkroom work, but most people choose a package from the market-leading Adobe Photoshop family – Photoshop CC, Photoshop Lightroom, or Photoshop Elements.
All three of these pieces of software offer so many features and options for manipulating your pictures, it’s often hard to know where to begin, let alone know which tool and panel you should use to complete a given task.
